Community Building via Periodic "Inquiries" and "Implementations"
This solution addresses unfocused problem-solving that lacks a civic voice in Jacksonville, Florida for all residents of a given community
Problem Description
This solution was created by the City of Jacksonville, Florida's Community Council (JCCI) as an attempt to take on a new civic engagement strategy all the while better understanding and solving some of the city's pressing issues. The specific JCCI programs that this solution documents are the "Inquiry" and "Implementation" programs. These were established as task forces that would bring in diverse volunteer experts to focus intensely on just one problem, and then implement solutions.Building Blocks
