Virtual Reality’s power for empathy & understanding

This solution addresses lack of tools to assist with empathy & understanding in internationally for local residents

Problem Description

“The true power of VR … [is that] it connects humans to other humans in a profound way,” Milk said in a TED talk. His film Clouds Over Sidra, for example, puts viewers inside the life of a 12-year-old girl in a Syrian refugee camp. “When you’re sitting there in her room watching her, you’re not watching it through a television screen, you’re not watching it through a window – you’re sitting there with her. When you look down, you’re sitting on the same ground that she’s sitting on. And because of that you feel her humanity in a deeper way, you empathise with her in a deeper way, and I think we can change minds with this machine. It can change people’s perceptions of each other.” Quote from: www.theguardian.com/cities/2017/may/26/empathy-machine-vr-bad-city-developments-virtual-reality
